I feel silly for complaining when the temperature gets to 40 degrees (especially after FaceTiming with one of my best friends from Toronto), so I won't say that some mornings have been so bitingly cold that I have found myself yearning for those one piece snowsuits I used to wear on childhood ski trips. Instead, I've turned to a more socially acceptable (and far more chic) option in the form of a faux fur gilet.
If there have ever been any questions about faux fur being as warm as the real thing, they can be put to rest, as this is quite easily the warmest item I've warn all winter. Warm enough to allow for dresses with slits and no stockings on one of the coldest mornings yet, which is nothing short of a blessing for the sartorially-minded.
