A while back, Elsa, Sara from StyleComb and I had so much fun playing dress up together that we decided to go for a round two. This round, we each gave each other two looks with the simple switch of accessories.
Sara has the most beautiful hair and I thought that a vintage 50's look would suit her beautifully. The happy accident of a vintage American Flag in the background couldn't help but add a Jackie O aura to the whole look. Slip on a bomber jacket and wedge sneakers to sport it up and all of a sudden, the look has an entirely new attitude.
I haven't worn a turtleneck in years but after Sara styled me in one, I immediately purchased two for myself. There is a subtle sexiness to being fully covered up, especially in a fitted top, and I love how the doors are flung wide open for layering possibilities. I think everyone should try a style swap every once in a while - it pushes you out of your comfort zone in the best of ways, which can be the quickest the path to new discoveries.
Make sure to head over to StyleComb to see more photos of how I styled Sara.
