As we are gearing up for New York Fashion Week (and the inevitable drop in temperature that awaits us), I can't help but let thoughts of spring creep their way into my mind. While I'm generally not a head-to-toe color person, I do love a dash of color when paired with a desaturated getup and there's no better way to simultaneously embrace the cold and a change of season than with a brightly colored leather jacket.
I'm even using this jacket as an excuse to repurpose some of my favorite warm-weather dresses, until the weather becomes kind enough for me to wear them on their own. I'm also looking forward to wearing this jacket next week, as we brave nearly freezing temperatures in New York. Regardless, I'll be packing a double layer of stockings just in case.
