It's funny how you don't even see a personal trend coming until it has fully manifested itself in your wardrobe. My own trend, as of late, gravitates towards bright, textured pieces, flirty hemlines, and a growing obsession with lipstick. One color I can't seem to leave alone right now is green - a color I have pretty much ignored for the last few years. Such a long hiatus, however, has apparently fostered a hunger and now I can't get enough. Of course, you can't overlook that Emerald is this season's Pantone golden child, and while I haven't exactly embraced that exact hue, there's still plenty of time, now isn't there?
It's also funny how at times, a friend can give more insight into your personal preferences than you can yourself. One thing that's become apparent under observation of Elsa's style is the many ways she loves all things animal inspired. From literal images of animals, to fur textures and prints, I'm always impressed with the multi-angled approach she can take in a single outfit, and somehow make it work beautifully.
